Our Heritage

Tamra R. Lahmer, CPC, CPC-I, CCS-P, MCS-P, CPRP founded this company in January 2000, and incorporated  in 2002 as MediQuick Billing Services.  In 2005, the company was  renamed  to “MediQuick Physician Services” to allow for expansion of services beyond medical billing.  The  demand for additional support in areas of compliance and practice consulting became a natural complement to our core services.

 MediQuick Physician Services is a medical services company, which supports coding, reimbursement, collections, compliance and education needs of healthcare providers, management and staff.  Our success is derived from three primary areas:

Knowledge:   The healthcare industry demands a constant commitment to maintaining a strong knowledgebase of coding and reimbursement guidelines, third party payer payment methodologies and Federal regulatory guidance.  MediQuick employees and associates are required to carry and maintain nationally recognized professional credentials in areas which impact our important role of representing the healthcare community.  Additionally, Tamra Lahmer has acquired an exceptional standard of coding knowledge through her role as a national instructor and founder of a vocational school for training and credentialing certified coders.

Communication:  Tamra Lahmer and the associates of MediQuick Physician Services are seasoned and gifted educators in interacting with physicians and healthcare providers of all specialties and all clinical settings.   A compliance program is only effective if it can communicate in a clear and straightforward manner, and is supported by Federal regulations and coding guidelines with interpretive application to specific provider specialties.  MediQuick Physician Services has a very successful history of developing a trusting and amicable relationship with their provider clients, and one of providing quality educational programs either one-on-one, or in group settings of up to 300 physicians, residents, non-physician practitioners and corporate executives.

Quality:   Medical record coding, audits, education, revenue management, consulting and any other service must be thorough enough to meet the identified objectives, while utilizing a simplistic and cost-effective approach when applying the product or service to operations.  Quality is defined in more ways that the presentation of a product or service.  Quality is meeting client deadlines. Quality is remaining available and responsive to client needs. Quality is offering advice and suggestions beyond the scope of work.
