AAPC has recently announced the addition of 19 New SPECIALTY CODING CERTIFICATIONS, and MediQuick Physician Services is excited to be an exclusive site for education and testing of these new credentials!

The new AAPC specialty credentials enable coders to demonstrate superior levels of expertise in their respective specialty disciplines. The new credentials are stand-alone certifications with no requirement to hold the CPC® credential.  They allow coders to validate their knowledge in a specialty with unique coding, reimbursement and compliance challenges.

The following Specialty Courses are now available for classroom or corporate training:

Certified Family Practice Coder (CFPC)

Certified General Surgery Coder (CGSC)

Certified Obstetric/Gynecology Coder (COGBC)

Certified Cardiology Coder (CCC)

Certified E&M Coder (CEMC)

ALREADY CERTIFIED BUT WANT THE KNOWLEDGE?  You can still benefit professionally from this education, because each 10-hour  course qualifies for 10 AAPC CEUs!   You may attend the course and learn in-depth knowledge in specific areas of coding, without the requirement to take the certification exam!

All specialty classes are offered over two days of training.  The first day is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5:00p.m., and the second day is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
